The Japanese club-restaurant Megu is making a comeback to New York, this time in Chelsea’s luxury Dream Downtown hotel.  The 5,000-square-foot. 145 seat, upscale “clubstaurant” is opening under the new ownership of Jon Bakshi of Beautique.  Chef Francis Tariga-Weshnak will helm the kitchen and will feature a menu largely similar to past Megus, known for items like their staple Kobe beef.  Our music team has put together a dynamic playlist of indie dance, deep house and disco that we’re confident will create the perfect balance between a restaurant and club atmosphere.
