If you haven’t heard of the Asian-inspired Miami restaurant KYU yet, you certainly will in the coming weeks.  Former Zuma alums Michael Lewis and Steven Haigh are the brains behind the “wood-fired Asian-grill” that opened its doors last week. The grill serves as the centerpiece of the menu, which is dedicated to Asian classics such as breast burnt ends with yuzu pickles and wagyu beef brisket with shichimi spices.  Our music stylist Ben has designed a music program that ties in elements of the surrounding urban neighborhood through upbeat hip-hop and electronic genres.  It has been a pleasure working with the guys at KYU and we’ll be watching closely as they continue to revolutionize the Asian-grill experience.
